Michael Torchalski CLE Presentation on Real Estate Tax Appeals

Michael Torchalski recently spoke at two continuing legal education seminars sponsored by Chicago Title Insurance Company on the subject of real estate tax appeals. Mike's presentation covered grounds for appeal, forms, procedures, supporting documentation, and evidentiary issues, including appraisal. Other speakers included real estate appraisers William Falkanger and Mark O'Brien of A-Appraisals, the Kane County Supervisor of Assessments Mark Armstrong, the McHenry County Supervisor of Assessments, Robert Ross. The two seminars were attended by approximately 70 attorneys practicing in Kane and McHenry Counties.

Attorneys Michael Torchalski and William Holloway recently spoke at a continuing legal education seminar sponsored by Chicago Title Insurance Company on the subject of recent developments in construction and mechanics lien litigation. Larry Eisen of Chicago Title also presented on the subject of construction escrow. The seminar was attended by approximately 40 attorneys.
